The I-278 and NY 440 designations are multiplexed along the Staten Island Expressway west to the West Shore Expressway.

BOROUGH OF STATEN ISLAND

For approximately 0.25 mile between Victory Boulevard and the Staten Island Expressway, the Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Expressway is actually part of the Willowbrook Parkway.
