In the state of New York, Interstate 78 comprises only the Holland Tunnel and its approaches. The exits listed below only apply to eastbound I-78. There are no westbound exits for I-78 in New York; all I-78 WEST traffic is for the Holland Tunnel only.
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey maintains and signs this section of I-78, which forms a "coil" before its eastern terminus at Canal Street. There are no I-78 reassurance shields or NYSDOT reference markers on this section.
