The eastbound I-278 is multiplexed with the westbound Grand Central Parkway to the Triborough Bridge approach. Traffic on I-278 westbound must exit right at EXIT 4 on the Grand Central Parkway. Along this section, trucks and buses use the Astoria Boulevard service road.
